- Video games. The Witcher 3, team Yennefer. Hogwarts Legacy, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, The Blood of Dawnwalker, Cyberpunk 2077.
- Harry Potter. Grew up alongside the books. They were there through the happiest years and the hardest ones.
- Rock, loud. Green Day, Sum 41, Mayday 五月天, Wowkie Da 大张伟. Preferably with the guitars doing the emotional labour. It is what a long night of failed simulation runs sounds like from the inside.

Drawing is a way into an inner world, and a way to stay there for a while. Both pictures are drawn by hand.
The camera did not replace painting. It gave painting somewhere else to go. AIGC looks like the same kind of arrival, a new source of material and a strong tool in the hand of whoever is drawing.
